몇 년 전에 들은 미군들의 조크 하나. 한 청년이 미 육군에 입대하기 위해 모병소를 찾아 갔습니다. 그곳에서 그는 공수부대의 모병관을 만났죠. 청년은 공수부대에 대해 호기심이 생겼고, 모병관에게 질문을 했습니다. “공수부대가 뭐 하는 곳인가요?” 모병관 왈, “뭐 보통 보병부대보다 단지 3주의 훈련을 더 받을 뿐이지.” “3주를 더요?”, “그래, 첫 째 주는 사나이들과 소년들을 갈라낸다네.” “둘째 주는요?” 청년이 물었습니다. “사나이들과 바보들을 갈라내지.” “그럼 마지막 주에는 무얼 하나요?” “바보들이 낙하산을 탄다네.”
2차대전때 미군 공수부대들이 부르던 노래...
가사는? 정말 끔찍한 내용으로 가득차 있음.... 비행기에서 점프하다가...
완죤히 X되는 내용으로 가득천 무시무시한 노래.... 평소에 저런 노래를 부르면서...
정말 겁나는 진짜 점프시의 공포를 이겨냈다고 함~~~
<밴드 오브 브라더스> 8편인가에서 이 노래가 나왔던 기억이 난다.
